Lundgren daunted by tough co-stars
Dolph Lundgren has confessed that he gets intimidated being surrounded by hardmen on the set of Expendables 2.
The Swedish actor and martial artist is no pussy cat himself, but he admitted working on the action epic with Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham and Chuck Norris was certainly not just like a normal day at work for him.
Dolph said: "I don't know if we sit around that much on set. It's kind of more daunting when you see everybody there.
"You're getting ready for a scene and there's Arnold strapping his machine gun on and Bruce Willis is making a call. Sly is getting ready. Statham is over here and Chuck Norris over the other side. You're like, 'Am I really part of this movie?' It's pretty cool."
The sequel to Sly's story of an action hero super team is directed by Simon West, who previously directed Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Con Air.
Dolph revealed: "I beat up a few people, My character's not part of the team, and so it's not as crazy as it is in the first one. It was fun to work with everybody more than I did on the first one, when I was kind of on my own."
The 54-year-old actor joked the stunts had taken their toll.
He said: "I've got a lot of scars but I can't show them to you here!"
