Maggie Q has revealed she would love to try her hand at a romantic comedy.
The Hawaiian-born actress, whose real name is Maggie Quigley, is often seen kicking butt in action films like Mission: Impossible III, Die Hard 4.0 and Priest, but reckons she could do with a change.
"It would be nice if we could do everything we'd like to do in Hollywood, but the reality is in Hollywood they categorise you the way they see fit and I'm not exactly a romantic comedy producer's first choice," she said.
"A lot of the times they go with the usual suspects and I think there is room to think outside the box in that arena but we'll see. It takes brave producers to make decisions like that and there are only a handful."
Maggie - who plays the eponymous assassin in TV series Nikita, showing on Sky Living - admitted she loves action sequences. She famously fought with Bruce Willis' John McClane in Die Hard 4.0.
"It's always fun to beat up guys. It was fun because Bruce was really into it and it was such a big sequence. It took a month-and-a-half to shoot all that stuff," she said.
