Mara undecided about Oscar dress
Rooney Mara is among the many Best Actress nominees who still haven't decided what to wear to the Oscars.
"I haven't found a dress yet but I'm not that worried about it," the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo actress said at the Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills. 'It's a simple process. People just send you things and you try then on."
"The most important thing to me is feeling comfortable," she added, when asked about her red carpet philosophy. "I have to feel good in it. I like simple things, I don't like to wear anything too crazy. I don't like that much colour."
Meanwhile, Best Actress nominee Michelle Williams said she had not yet found her dress for the big day.
"I wish I had something to tell you but I don't," she said. "Should I be worried?
"Luckily it's a process which involves other people and I'm not alone in dealing with what that's going to be. I'm dealing with what's in front of me and what my work and what my job is. Luckily enough, I get to work with really talented people. And that's their speciality."
Meanwhile, her Best Actress rival Viola Davis said she found it more of a struggle to keep up glamorous appearances during award season.
"If you guys could see me when I'm at home," she said. "I am not a glam woman. That's definitely a mask I put on for the public. My biggest fear is that the paparazzi with some big lens is going to come out and see me at home when I get into my pool. That would be very unfortunate."
However, there was one acting nominee who has already lined up her red carpet gown, although The Artist star Berenice Bejo is keeping the details firmly under wraps.
"It's like Christmas," she said. "You don't want to say anything. Red carpet is not such a big deal to me. It's getting into a nice dress to honour the situation. I just want to look pretty and feel good."
