James Marsden has admitted it was "daunting" shooting a sex scene with Kirsten Dunst.
The Straw Dogs actor gets intimate with the Melancholia star in their new comedy Bachelorette and told E! Online he battled his nerves before the shoot.
"Those are always daunting scenes when you see them on the schedule," he said. "You're counting the days."
James, 38, also confessed it was a bit odd filming the romp with Kirsten, 30, because he could remember her acting in movies as a child star.
He laughed: "Don't think that didn't cross my mind when we were on a bathroom counter in some random bar in New York.
"But she's as cool a chick as it gets. Once I knew Kirsten was game, it was much easier to do the scene."
Bachelorette, directed by Leslye Headland, also stars Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan and is due to be released later this year.
