Matt Damon: I'll be back as Bourne
Matt Damon will reprise his role as Jason Bourne.
Reports had begun to circulate that Hollywood star Matt and director Paul Greengrass were in talks to make another Bourne movie.
Now Matt has confirmed he'll be back, after B en Affleck let the cat out of the bag when he was asked about having to work out to get in shape.
Ben said: "Well, (Damon's] going to be doing a Bourne movie next fall when I've just completely lost any semblance of physical fitness," E! News reported.
"Yes, next year," Matt added. "It'll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out. Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that's all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes."
The Hollywood actor was speaking in Los Angeles at an event promoting his docu-series, Project Greenlight.
Matt starred as Jason Bourne in the first three movies, based on the novels by Robert Ludlum, but stepped down after 2007's The Bourne Ultimatum and has said he would not reprise the role unless Paul returned to direct.
Jeremy Renner appeared in the fourth film in the franchise, The Bourne Legacy, which follows agent Aaron Cross.
