Jared Leto, Michael Fassbender and Bradley Cooper have sparked a new fashion trend for this year's Oscars - having your mum on your arm.
The three stars - all nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 86th Academy Awards - are taking their mothers to the ceremony, according to The Sun.
Jared, nominated for his portrayal of a transgender Aids sufferer in Dallas Buyers Club, apparently invited his mum Constance via FaceTime earlier this week. He has recently been linked to 12 Years A Slave star Lupita Nyong'o but they will not walk the red carpet together.
Michael Fassbender, who stars in Steve McQueen's critically acclaimed 12 Years A Slave, is said to be flying his parents over from Ireland. He is reportedly dating model Madalina Ghenea but he wants his mum to be by his side on the big night.
And Bradley Cooper, star of David O Russell's drama American Hustle, will apparently walk the red carpet with mum Gloria, as he and British model Suki Waterhouse want to keep their relationship private.
