Owen Wilson heads for You Are Here

Owen Wilson could be teaming up with Zach Galifianakis in drama You Are Here.

The Midnight In Paris star is said to be in talks alongside the Hangover actor and Amy Poehler to join the upcoming directorial debut of Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, reported Variety.

The film, which has also been written by Matthew, focuses on childhood best friends who go on a road trip after one of them inherits a coin following his father's death.

Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper and Zach were previously attached to star, followed by Renee Zellweger, Matt Dillon and Jack Black.

Zach's character is described as "unstable", while Owen's role - which Bradley and Matt were linked to - was "skirt-chasing and hard-partying".

Amy is tipped to be up for either the part of Zach's screen sister, who is "jealous and angry over her omission from her father's will", or the father's widow, which Rachel McAdams was in talks to play in 2010.

Owen, who was last seen in Woody Allen's sentimental drama, next stars in comedy The Big Year alongside Steve Martin, Jack Black and Rosamund Pike.
