Page heads East with Skarsgard?
Ellen Page could soon be heading to The East with Alexander Skarsgard.
The Inception star is said to have taken one of the lead roles in the eco-terrorism thriller, playing the former lover of Alexander's character, reported Variety.
Felicity Jones and Evan Rachel Wood had previously been linked to the role.
Brit Marling, who co-wrote the film with director Zal Batmanglij, has been cast as an undercover agent who infiltrated an eco-terrorist group, only to fall for their leader (Alexander).
Since breaking out in Juno, Ellen - who - has been filming Woody Allen's new film Bop Decameron in Italy - has had roles in Smart People, Drew Barrymore's directorial debut Whip It and Christopher Nolan's Inception.
