Paris Hilton's Bollywood ambition
Paris Hilton has revealed she would like to appear in a Bollywood film.
The hotel heiress and reality TV star flew to Mumbai to launch her line of handbags and accessories at the weekend and according to The Hollywood Reporter, told a press conference she has already been offered Bollywood roles.
Paris said: "I have been approached earlier to do Bollywood films and if I get a good script, who knows I may just do a film; Bollywood films are so colourful."
The socialite wore a coral pink Grecian drape, a contemporary twist on the Indian sari, styled by well-known Bollywood designer Rocky S.
Paris said: "I am so glad to have come here. I love the creations by Indian designers and I will be wearing only Indian designer outfits during my stay here.
"I am very inspired by Indian designers. I recently shot for the cover of Marie Claire India in a sari designed by Rocky S. He is an incredible designer. I am sure I am going to wear a sari back in the US as well."
The 30-year-old star was asked if she had considered making an Indian version of her TV series BFF (Best Friend Forever), which has international versions in London and Dubai.
She said: "Right now, I am very busy with my brand but yes, after a couple of visits, I should have one BFF here too."
Paris has tweeted that she is "having the best time" in India, but she also wrote on Twitter: "India is beautiful, but some parts are very poverty stricken. Broke my heart to see babies sleeping on the streets."
