Pitt and Nyong'o team up again
Brad Pitt and Lupita Nyong'o are reuniting for new film Americanah.
The actor's Plan B production company has acquired the rights to the book by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and will adapt it for the big screen.
Lupita, who worked with Brad on Oscar-winning movie 12 Years A Slave, will star in the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actress will also be a producer on the project, a love story of two young Nigerians, Ifemelu and Obinze, which examines the modern immigrant experience.
Lupita said: "It is such an honour to have the opportunity to bring Ms Adichie's brilliant book to the screen.
"Page after page, I was struck by Ifemelu and Obinze's stories, whose experiences as African immigrants are so specific and also so imminently relatable. It is a thrilling challenge to tell a truly international story so full of love, humour and heart."
The in demand actress has also been cast in JJ Abrams' upcoming Star Wars movie Episode VII.
