Pitt starts filming Cogan's Trade
Brad Pitt has begun shooting Cogan's Trade in New Orleans.
The Hollywood actor, who plays a mob enforcer in the crime thriller, was spotted sporting slicked-back hair and long sideburns and wearing an all-black ensemble in the Bywater part of the city.
An eyewitness, who clocked Brad's return, told People.com: "He genuinely seemed excited to be back in town - Brad waved to fans and had a huge smile."
A set source revealed Brad - who has a home in the French Quarter with partner Angelina Jolie - was in high spirits.
"Brad arrived on the set bright and early. He was in a great mood and sipped a coffee while chatting with the cast and the crew," they said.
Javier Bardem, Casey Affleck and James Gandolfini also star in Cogan's Trade, which is produced by Brad and directed by Andrew Dominik.
"Everyone on the movie is very excited that they get the opportunity to work with Brad. He seems like a very nice guy," the source added.
Angelina, who has been working on both Kung Fu Panda 2 and her directorial debut, which she's filmed in Europe, is expected to join Brad in New Orleans soon, along with their children.
