Rapace set for American Crime?
Noomi Rapace could be starring in futuristic thriller The Last Days Of American Crime.
The Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows star has been attached to a role in the big-screen adaptation of Rick Remender's graphic novel of the same name, reported Deadline.
However, it isn't clear if she is still circling the part.
Anthony Mandler, who has directed music videos for Rihanna, Jay-Z and Eminem and been at the helm of commercials with David Beckham, is apparently in talks to make his film directing debut.
The film, which has been written by Karl Gajdusek, takes place in the future, as America develops technology that takes away the impulse to commit crimes of any kind as a response to a terrorism attack.
But a heist team plans to pull off one last job five days before their criminal instincts are wiped out.
Noomi - who shot to worldwide fame after starring in the Swedish-language Girl With The Dragon Tattoo films - will next be seen in Ridley Scott's Prometheus alongside Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender.
