Redford and Keaton's Christmas film
Robert Redford and Diane Keaton are in talks to star in new Christmas movie The Most Wonderful Time.
The Yuletide project will feature storylines with multiple characters that overlap, based around the chaos of family Christmases, Deadline reports.
The film has been written by Stepmom's Steven Rogers and will be directed by I Am Sam writer and director Jessie Nelson, who co-wrote Vince Vaughn Christmas comedy Fred Claus.
Steven describes the film as an "Amelie-esque story about people who live for the future or hang onto the past, which prevents them from living in the moment, and not appreciating what is right in front of them."
The project is now being pitched around Robert and Diane in the starring roles, and more stars are being approached to join the cast.
