Robert Downey Jr turns down Gravity
Robert Downey Jr has turned down a role in Gravity, it has been reported.
The Due Date star has said no to Alfonso Cuaron's outer space survival thriller - but is eyeing up How To Talk To Girls, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Sources say that the actor, who is currently filming the Sherlock Holmes sequel, is circling the big-screen adaptation of the best-selling book of the same name, written by then nine-year-old Alec Greven, which offers advice on how to deal with the opposite sex.
Robert and his wife and producing partner Susan would come on board as producers, although no deals have been made.
The 45-year-old, famous for his role as superhero Tony Stark in the Iron Man films and detective Sherlock Holmes, is still attached to Disney's Oz: The Great And Powerful, which is expected to start shooting next summer.
As for Gravity, Sandra Bullock is in talks to play the lead female role and Robert's character will be re-cast.
