Roberts: Kids don't see my movies
Julia Roberts has revealed her children won't be watching her star as the wicked queen in new fairytale movie Mirror Mirror.
The 44-year-old actress thinks seven-year-old twins Hazel and Finn and four-year-old Henry are too young to watch the new big screen adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, People reports.
Julia said: "I think they are [too young] considering the part that I play.
She added: "We have a pretty rigid viewing feeling in our house."
The Oscar-winning actress revealed her family don't watch many films or TV shows as they prefer reading.
She said: "We're more book people in our house," adding her family like to spend time reading "stories and poetry and talking, sharing ideas".
"Those nice, cosy, very short hours before bed, we just really spend together as a family talking and sharing the day and reading books, and really, before you know it, it's time for bed.
"Part of it is there's just not time for that. We would prefer something different in that time."
Julia added: "They do get to watch some things. But for us, we just feel there's a real time and a place for it."
The Pretty Woman star said she and her husband, director of photography Danny Moder, are waiting until the right time to share their work with their children. "We'll find our right time that will be happy and joyous for us to share that all together, but it probably isn't in two weeks."
