Sandler gets his teeth into role
Adam Sandler is set to provide the voice of Dracula in new animation Hotel Transylvania.
The Funny People actor will join Kevin James and Steve Buscemi in the 3D family comedy, about a "five-stake" resort hidden from human eyes, Sony has announced.
Kevin is set to take on the role of Frankenstein, while David Spade will play Quasimodo and Boardwalk Empire's Buscemi and Molly Shannon will voice overtired werewolf parents.
The film will show Dracula not just as the prince of darkness, but as an over-protective dad to daughter Mavis.
"We're thrilled to be working with Adam to create a comedic Dracula for a new generation," Michelle Raimo-Kouyate of Sony Pictures Animation told Variety.
The movie is set for release in September 2012.
