Saoirse Ronan has landed a role in the film version of The Host.
The Irish teenager will play Melanie in the movie, an adaptation of a novel by Twilight writer Stephanie Meyer, Deadline reports.
The sci-fi book follows Melanie and Wanderer, an extraterrestrial "soul" who takes over her mind.
The challenging role would see Saoirse play both Melanie and the alien who invades her.
Saoirse, 17, came to prominence in 2007 in the film Atonement, which gained her an Oscar nomination, as well as Bafta and Golden Globe nods.
She also made waves in the movie adaptation of The Lovely Bones.
The Host was published in 2008.
Saoirse's latest movie, Hanna, opens in cinemas in the UK on Friday.
