Seyfried star of Lovelace screening
Amanda Seyfried stepped out on the red carpet to promote her new film Lovelace in New York.
The Les Miserables star plays porn star Linda Lovelace in the true story of how she was made to join the industry by her husband but fought to get control back over her life.
Wearing a strapless Givenchy denim dress and bright red lipstick, Amanda, 27, led the film's stars at The Cinema Society and MCM's special screening.
She told ABC News: "It's going to be really hard and kind of terrifying at the same time. I do have some liberties there but I am playing someone that existed in history and had quite an established reputation for something very extreme."
Amanda was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Debi Mazar and Chris Noth as well as directors Jeffrey Friedman and Rob Epstein.
Other cast members in the star-studded film are Juno Temple, Chloe Sevigny, Adam Brody, Hank Azaria and James Franco.
Lovelace is released in cinemas on August 23.
