She wants to catch a killer, not the cold: Gillian Anderson wraps up while filming The Fall

By Colin O'Carroll

The Fall actress Gillian Anderson kept wardrobe staff busy yesterday filming on location in a rainy and blustery Belfast.

Early in the day, she was spotted dressed to the nines in killer heels, tights, a black skirt suit and a smart coat as scenes were shot around Custom House near the River Lagan.

Later, as darkness and temperatures fell, she was spotted in Little Donegall Street on a night shoot.

Dressed in a puffa coat and beanie and sheltering from the wind against another crew member, she was obviously feeling the cold.

As if the rain falling from the sky was not bad enough, the scenes being shot called for a rain machine to be used, making sure the cast got well and truly soaked and chilled through.

The third series of The Fall has been filming at various locations around Belfast over the past few weeks.
