Sienna Milller is French belle

Sienna Miller appears to have become en vogue in France after being cast in her second French film this year.

The Edge Of Love star - who was born in New York and raised in England - is about to begin filming Nous York, about a famous film star who rents her Manhattan apartment to a group of French friends.

French directors Herve Mimran and Geraldine Nakache chose Sienna because she has "a certain glamour that comes across on the big screen" and she "looks more seductive in her gowns than most French women do", according to the Daily Mail.

French stars Leila Bekhti, Manu Payet and Nakache will also appear in the film and Sienna begins shooting her scenes in the US next month.

The 29-year-old actress starred in Just Like A Woman for Paris-based director Rachid Bouchareb earlier this summer.

Sienna had her breakthrough role in the critically panned remake of Alfie, and went on to date co-star Jude Law on and off for seven years.

Earlier this year she appeared on stage in the West End in Trevor Nunn's successful production of Flare Path at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, with James Purefoy and Sheridan Smith.
