Singer Amy Winehouse film breaks UK box office records
A film telling the story of Amy Winehouse's life has become the second most popular documentary at the UK box office.
The latest figures show Amy has grossed £3.44 million.
Directed by Asif Kapadia, who was also behind the award-winning Senna documentary, Amy has surpassed the £3.17m taken by the film about former F1 ace Ayrton.
Amy producer James Gay-Rees said: "We were amazed that Senna struck such a chord when it came out in the UK and didn't think that anything could reach that kind of audience again, so it's an indictment of Amy's incredible popularity that the film has done so well, she's still a massive star."
