Singer's X-Men Quicksilver hints
X-Men: Days Of Future Past director Bryan Singer has teased the forthcoming appearance from superhuman Quicksilver.
The filmmaker tweeted a picture of a home, with a mailbox sporting the name Maximoff, a hint that the house belongs to Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver.
"House call. #Xmen #DaysOfFuturePast," Bryan wrote in the accompanying caption.
Evan Peters will portray Quicksilver and Pietro, the son of Magneto, who is played by Michael Fassbender in the sequel.
Sir Ian McKellen, who played the villain in the previous X-Men movies, is also expected to make an appearance in X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
Joss Whedon has also confirmed that Quicksilver and his sister, the Scarlet Witch, would appear in the 2015 Avengers sequel.
"They're interesting to me because they sort of represent the part of the world that wouldn't necessarily agree with the Avengers. So they're not there to make things easier," he told Entertainment Weekly.
James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and a number of the original X-Men cast members including Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman and Ellen Page will reprise their roles in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, which will open in the UK on May 23, 2014.
