America Ferrera, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn could be headed for a big-screen reunion in the third Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants film.
The actresses, who previously starred in the last two films, are being eyed to reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel, Sisterhood Everlasting, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Ken Kwapis, who directed the original film in 2005, will return to direct, with Liz Garcia writing the script.
Based on Ann Brashares' 2012 book, the third instalment picks up with the foursome 10 years after the second book. With the teenage friends grown up and grown apart as they lead their own adult lives, Tibby (played by Amber) tries to reunite her girlfriends for an unforgettable trip.
Alloy Entertainment president Les Morgenstein, who is producing the film, said: "The Sisterhood series is one of Alloy's most cherished properties and we are looking forward to continuing its legacy with Sisterhood Everlasting nearly a decade after the first film was released.
"The original film brought together an incredible group of talent who we hope to unite for fans once again."
The first film was released in 2005 and earned 42 million US dollars (£25 million) worldwide, followed by the sequel in 2008, which made around 44 million US dollars (£26 million) around the world.
