Bill Paxton has paid tribute to "wildly talented" actress Sissy Spacek as she became the latest recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Sissy was joined by her Big Love co-star Paxton and director David Lynch at a ceremony to unveil the plaque on Hollywood Boulevard.
Bill told the crowd about his long friendship with the Carrie star and her husband Jack Fisk, describing Spacek as "extraordinary".
"There is no other actress in the history of film quite like her," he said, "her body of work is incomparable.
"Sissy Spacek is one of the greats - the variety of characters this wildly talented actress has created in motion pictures is nothing short of extraordinary."
The 61-year-old actress, who won a Best Actress Oscar in the 1980s for her role as Loretta Lynn, was also joined by Jessica Chastain, her co-star in her latest movie, The Help.
