Stan Lee hints at Black Widow movie
Stan Lee has revealed Scarlett Johansson could be set to star in her very own Black Widow spin-off movie.
The actress has appeared as Natasha Romanoff aka the Black Widow in Iron Man 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers Assemble and will reprise the role in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
Now comicbookresources.com reports that writer Stan, the former President of Marvel comics, has revealed at Marvel Presents: The Legendary Stan Lee panel at Fan Expo Canada that she will get her own film.
He said: "We haven't made a Black Widow movie but she's been in some of our movies, and she will be featured more prominently as we move forward.
"And the chances are she will have her own movie because eventually all the superheroes are going to have their own movies. They are already working on Ant-Man, Dr Strange and the Black Panther and there are others I am not allowed to talk about."
British actor John Boyega, who is appearing in the new Star Wars movie, Djimon Hounsou, who voiced Black Panther for an animation, and Chadwick Boseman are among the names linked to the Black Panther spin-off.
Wesley Snipes was first linked to the role back in 1992.
