Stone: Garfield is just incredible
Emma Stone is thrilled about the romance between Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man.
The Help star revealed the relationship between the duo attracted her to the role in the forthcoming prequel, which stars Andrew Garfield as the webbed superhero.
"I was drawn to that part, because I really liked what happens between Gwen and Peter. So I'm excited about that," she said.
"And I think Andrew is incredible so that was really wonderful for me."
Emma - who next stars alongside Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell and Julianne Moore in Crazy Stupid Love - is trying to shrug off expectations for the movie, which completed shooting in May.
"It's really interesting to be a part of something that so many people hold close to their hearts and that so many people grew up with," she continued.
"I don't know what people are expecting from Spider-Man. We'll have to see. But when you are part of a movie that has a fan base already built in, it feels like everyone's read the script, which is rare.
"They come in with these expectations. You just hope that they'll be happy with the way the story was told, and the way it was translated to the screen."
The Amazing Spider-Man will be released in 2012.
