Suki Waterhouse in Divergent sequel
Suki Waterhouse has signed up to star in Divergent sequel Insurgent.
The British model girlfriend of Bradley Cooper will join Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet and Theo James in the follow-up to the young adult action movie based on Veronica Roth's sci-fi novels, The Hollywood Reporter revealed.
Rising star Jonny Weston, who starred in surfer drama Chasing Mavericks and will next appear in Taken 3, is also joining the cast.
Suki will play Marlene, a member of the Dauntless faction. The 22-year-old Burberry model has previously appeared in British action film Pusher, alongside fellow model Agyness Deyn, and will next be seen in Love, Rosie with Lily Collins.
Insurgent, which will be released in March 2015, sees the stakes raised for Beatrice 'Tris' Prior (Shailene) who is on the run with Tobias 'Four' Eaton (Theo), as they try to escape the attention of power-hungry Erudite leader Jeanine Matthews (Kate).
Robert Schwentke is directing the sequel, which sees most of the cast returning including Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Jai Courtney and Zoe Kravitz, along with Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer, who will play Johanna Reyes, the leader of the Amity faction.
The film has already begun shooting in Atlanta.
