Swift to star in Seuss' The Lorax
Taylor Swift is set to star in the film adaptation of Dr Seuss' The Lorax.
The country star will voice the lead female role, alongside Zac Efron as the lead male in the forthcoming CGI animation of the famous children's classic, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Danny DeVito is to lend his voice to the Lorax, a grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world, with Betty White as Zac's wise grandmother.
The film, directed by Chris Renaud, follows a boy (Zac) who searches for a way to win the affections of the girl of his dreams (Taylor), and comes across the story of the Lorax.
This would be Taylor's second foray into the film world, following her turn in ensemble drama Valentine's Day last year.
