Thurman's the top screen bride
Uma Thurman's samurai sword-wielding character in Kill Bill has been named the top screen bride.
The blood-spattered assassin topped a poll ahead of figures from hit films such as Muriel's Wedding and Sex And The City.
Thurman's bride drew a third of the votes in the survey by rental and streaming firm Lovefilm ahead of Friday's royal wedding.
Muriel Heslop, played by Toni Collette, from Muriel's Wedding was runner-up, with the title character from Tim Burton's creepy animated film Corpse Bride placed third.
Jilted Carrie Bradshaw in Sex And The City was placed sixth.
And another Carrie (Andie MacDowell) from Four Weddings And A Funeral is ninth in the list.
Fliss White of Lovefilm said: "From feisty, yellow jumpsuit-wearing assassins to screen sirens like Grace Kelly, it seems we cannot get enough of movie nuptials."
