Tom Cruise had a narrow escape when he just missed being hit by a bus as he shot his new film in London.
The Hollywood megastar is in the capital making Mission: Impossible 5 and footage has emerged online showing him stepping out into the path of a double decker without checking both ways for traffic.
Luckily, the driver honked his horn and Tom leapt back to safety.
The actor, who is known for tackling his own stunts on his movies, has been shooting the film around Piccadilly Circus. He was spotted filming around the tube station and also shot scenes in a record shop.
There was no advance warning that the 52-year-old star would be filming in London and no roads were closed.
Tom reprises his role as field operations agent Ethan Hunt in the fifth instalment of the action franchise, which is due to be released in December 2015.
Last month he was seen filming a stunt on a military aeroplane - at 5,000 feet in the air. The daring star was seen hanging from the side of a four-engine Airbus A400M while the aircraft was in motion above the British countryside.
Mission: Impossible 5 also stars Jeremy Renner, S imon Pegg and Ving Rhames, and is being directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
