Tucker set for a screen return?
Chris Tucker could be set to make his big screen comeback in two upcoming films.
The Rush Hour star, who is best recognised for swapping verbal banter with Jackie Chan, is said to be in talks to join poignant drama The Silver Linings Playbook alongside Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, reported Variety.
The 39-year-old would play the best friend of Bradley's character Pat Peoples in David O'Russell's big-screen adaptation of Matthew Quick's novel.
Chris - who has been absent from cinemas since 2007's Rush Hour 3 - is also said to be in talks to join comedy Neighbourhood Watch with Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill.
He is tipped to portray Jamarcus, a divorcee who joins the suburban watchdog group.
The former stand-up comedian-turned-actor made his big-screen debut in House Party 3 and Friday alongside Ice Cube, but is best known for his role as motormouth Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour films.
