An actor who plays a werewolf in the Twilight film series has been released from jail after he was picked up by US police on warrants for failing to appear on a drink-driving and drug charge.
The Arizona Republic reports that 21-year-old Kiowa Gordon posted 1,000 US dollars in bail to get out of a Maricopa County jail on Wednesday .
He was arrested earlier this week for failing to appear in other Phoenix area courts for previous drug and alcohol arrests.
Police said Gordon was arrested after a routine license plate check turned up the outstanding warrants.
Gordon plays wolf pack member Embry Call in the Twilight movies, one of the members of a Native American werewolf pack.
The popular Twilight series involves teenage girl Bella (Kristen Stewart) caught in a love triangle between vampires and werewolves.
