Vickers lands surf chick film role
Diana Vickers has confessed she is "a bit nervous" about her upcoming movie role.
The former X Factor contestant, who is also working on her second album, is jetting off to South Africa to make an indie surfing film.
She revealed: "Clint Eastwood's son has got the main role in it, and that's going to be pretty wicked.
"I can't really say a lot about it but I'm playing quite a surfer babe. It's a lot about surfing and it's to do with the power of life and death. It's quite interesting."
Diana admitted: "I'm going to miss my mum and my friends. I'll be Skyping. I'm a bit nervous but the director's great, it's going to be fun.
"I'm going to learn how to surf and I'm going to go to Cape Town and live there."
The 21-year-old, who hung out at V Festival last weekend with her model boyfriend George Craig, previously acted on the West End stage, in musical The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice.
She added: "I do bits and bobs, I've been on a lot of acting courses and I love to study acting. I'm taking that on a lot more."
