War House star trots to Old Mexico

Jeremy Irvine could be starring in A Night In Old Mexico with Robert Duvall.

The War Horse actor is tipped to play Robert's screen grandson in Emilio Aragon's upcoming epic drama, which is said to combine "action, tragedy and romance", reported Variety.

Robert, now 81, has previously described the role as "one of the best characters I've had in my life".

Spanish actors Luis Tosar, Javier Gutierrez and Angie Cepeda are also expected to appear in the English-language film, which begins shooting this week in Texas.

Since being hand-picked by Steven Spielberg to take the lead role in the big-screen adaptation of War Horse, Jeremy is set for further screen success. He will next be seen in teenage drama Now Is Good alongside Dakota Fanning, and has upcoming roles in Mike Newell's Great Expectations and war film The Railway Man.
