Ballymena actor Liam Neeson is completely transformed for his latest role in Watergate drama The Silent Man.
The 64-year-old sports a very gaunt looking figure in the movie, with grey locks completing the transformation.
Liam plays FBI official Mark Felt, who in 2005 revealed himself as the whistleblower Deep Throat - the nickname given to him by Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.
The journalists uncovered the Watergate scandal that led to President Richard Nixon’s resignation in 1974.
A sneak peek clip from the film has been released, showing Liam's character talking about the role of the FBI in protecting secrets.
The Silent Man also stars Diane Lane, Marton Csokas, and Michael C. Hall.
It is set for release in September.
