Watch: Northern Ireland school choir prepares for BGT semi-final

St Patrick’s Primary School in Drumgreenagh, Co Down have been practicing hard in case they make it through to the live semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent.

The junior choir wowed the BGT judges with their stunning rendition of Keane's Somewhere Only We Know during their original audition.

"Loved it, loved it, loved it!" judge Simon Cowell told them. "You can't ask for much better than that!"

The choir earned themselves a standing ovation from the judges and the audience, as well as a pass through to the next round of the competition.

"After receiving four yes votes from the judges, we are through to the next round where we await word on whether we have made it through to the live semi-finals," said principal Mrs Sorcha Lyness.

"We are remaining very hopefully as the judges' comments were so incredibly positive. We are keeping everything crossed!"

The date of the semi-finals have not yet been confirmed by ITV, but they are expected to air at the end of this month.

If they do make it through to the live shows, Mrs Lyness is urging everyone to vote and support St Patrick's Junior Choir.
