Willis: I am romantic in real-life
Bruce Willis has revealed that he is quite a romantic at heart.
Having played tough guys such as Die Hard's John McClane, Butch Coolidge in Pulp Fiction and John Hartigan in the Sin City films, the 58-year-old admitted he likes to treat his women well - unlike his Red character, Frank Moses.
"I like the idea of being awkward about romance. Because I think in real life I do an OK job at being romantic," he said.
"But I also enjoy the character in this film, especially as Red 2 was written in that direction."
Despite being one of the biggest action stars on the planet, Bruce said fast cars or guns don't really interest him.
"All I'm really trying to be is entertaining, and the action sequences are just part of a certain kind of entertainment. And it's not my favourite kind of entertainment. I like to try and make people laugh more than I like to fight in films," he said.
Bruce, who has reprised his role as former black ops agent Frank in Red 2 alongside John Malkovich and Dame Helen Mirren, said he would like to do more stunts on set "but I'm not allowed to ever, ever be hurt".
He added: "I try not to take it very seriously. It's a difficult thing if you take yourself or what you do seriously."
