Winslet set for Labour Day role
Kate Winslet is set for a leading role in Labour Day, it has been reported.
The Oscar-winning actress is tipped to star in the big-screen adaptation of Joyce Maynard's novel, which will be scripted and directed by Up In The Air filmmaker Jason Reitman, said Deadline.
Kate - who currently stars in HBO series Mildred Pierce - would play a single mother of a young son who takes in a stranger with a dangerous past, rumoured to be Josh Brolin, and falls in love with him over the course of Labour Day weekend.
