Winslet to star in Polanski film
Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster are to star in Roman Polanski's film, God Of Carnage.
Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and Matt Dillon will play their husbands in the big-screen adaptation of Yasmina Reza's three-time Tony-winning play, reported Deadline.
Although the film is set in Brooklyn, the filmmaker's legal troubles mean that he is banned from entering the US, so it will instead be filmed in Paris, France.
God Of Carnage tells the story of two couples who arrange a meeting after their sons are involved in a school fight, but it turns chaotic after each pair attacks the other's parenting skills before turning on each other regarding problems in their own marriages.
The Broadway production, which ran for 452 performances before ending in June, starred Marcia Gay Harden, James Gandolfini, Hope Davis and Jeff Daniels.
