Wiseman says goodbye to The Mummy
Len Wiseman has left The Mummy reboot, according to reports.
The search is said to be on for a new director after the Underworld filmmaker decided to pass on the upcoming Universal remake.
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that scheduling issues were to blame.
It is rumoured that Len's directing stint on TV show Sleepy Hollow, a "modern-day retelling" of Washington Irving's short story The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, might have played a part in his decision. He is also expected to direct the first few episodes of the season.
Len, who is married to actress Kate Beckinsale, joined The Mummy last autumn.
The 40-year-old director, who took the reins on the Total Recall remake starring Colin Farrell, his wife Kate and Jessica Biel, is also busy with his Max Steel TV series and is linked to directing a film remake of comic book The Darkness.
