The Like Crazy star is set to reprise his role as navigator Chekov in the sequel.

"Whatever it may be, I'm looking forward to being with those guys again."

Anton also revealed he tried his hand as a figure skater before pursuing an acting career.

The 22-year-old, who is the son of famous Russian skaters Irina Korina and Viktor Yelchin, soon discovered the talent didn't run in the family.

"They were very quick to understand that I wasn't very good at it," Anton confessed.

Anton admitted his dad had his doubts when he announced he wanted to become an actor.

"He still wanted me to apply to college and stuff, and I did. But this is what I wanted," he added.
