Catherine Zeta Jones is to head to the football pitch with Gerard Butler in Playing The Field.
The Welsh actress, who is set to play a sexy newsreader who falls for Gerard's charms, is a latecomer to the sports comedy, which also stars Jessica Biel, Dennis Quaid and Uma Thurman, reported 24 Frames blog.
The film, to be directed by Gabriele Muccino (Seven Pounds, The Pursuit Of Happyness), centres around Gerard's character - a troubled father and former pro football player, who tries to make up for lost time by coaching his son's team.
Jessica plays his estranged wife, who he tries to reconcile with.
But things get sticky after he catches the eye of some of the local women played by Uma, Catherine and a 'desperate' housewife (Judy Greer).
Filming began this week.
