Paddy McGuinness pays tribute to Take Me Out contestant
Presenter Paddy McGuinness has paid tribute to a Take Me Out contestant who died after recording the show.
Charlie Watkins' (22) appearance on the popular dating show was broadcast on Saturday night.
He described himself as a 'geek' and admitted to calling himself as 'The Chaz Man' - much to the amusement of the 30 single ladies he was aiming to impress.
He eventually earned himself a date to the fictional 'Isle of Fernandos' with Jo-Tara.
McGuinness dedicated Saturday's show to Charlie, tweeting: "Tonight’s Take Me Out is in memory of Charlie. A fantastic lad who I’m sure will be greatly missed by his wonderful friends and family. RIP."
It is understood Charlie passed away on March 13. Those who attended his funeral were asked to make donations to mental health charity MIND.

"Our thoughts and best wishes go to his family and friends. We ask that you respect the family's privacy at this time."

He wrote: “Words cannot express my feelings, but I feel this picture sums us up perfectly xx.”
