Watch: UTV presenter baffled at wardrobe hiccup before news broadcast
At times journalists are accused of getting their wires crossed - but never their jackets.
UTV presenter Jordan Moates was left flummoxed when he tried to button his jacket ahead of Thursday morning's Good Morning Northern Ireland bulletin - only to find he was one button short.
Originally he blamed the early morning start thinking it must have popped off, but it turned out it he had lifted colleague Marc Mallett's screen wear instead of his own.
When you are missing a button on your jacket at 7am on @GMB but are 100% sure you had it at 6am....turns out I accidentally picked up the jacket belonging to @MarcMallett_UTV.....confused look on my face says it all. @Simon_UTV had a little fun with what happened 📽️👇 pic.twitter.com/YJ1XfstyFS— Jordan Moates (@jordan_utv) June 13, 2019
