Hugo Duncan: Olivia Douglas among stars joining us for special broadcast from Ballyclare May Fair
For some years, Ballyclare May Fair has been part and parcel of the east Antrim entertainment scene.
The town's square really comes alive for this and we will be doing a BBC Radio Ulster outside broadcast from there on Tuesday (1.30pm-3pm).
I have been involved in the fair for some time now and it's always nice to see familiar faces there and enjoy the craic.
We have a number of artists who will be contributing to the entertainment, including Olivia Douglas, Shawn Cuddy, Jordan Mogey, Boxcar Brian, Billy McFarland and Steve Farlow.
Olivia Douglas hails from Offaly and is now a regular performer at concerts throughout this country as well as being a much sought-after singer for country music weeks in Europe.
Indeed, she is already widely travelled and she tells me she is looking forward to performing in Ballyclare for the first time.
Shawn Cuddy is also as busy as ever. The Laois native now lives in Lifford, but he spends a considerable part of the year touring in England with his band.
Indeed, Shawn continues to perform at country dances and his lively show is continuing to win him fans.
Jordan Mogey, who hails from Ballymoney, is having considerable success with his latest record and will shortly be entering the studio to record a follow-up.
This young man knows how to captivate an audience and he looks set to create quite an impact at our show in Ballyclare.
Make a note of the fact too that we will be doing an outside broadcast of our show from the Girdwood Community Hub in Belfast on Friday, June 7.
