Belsonic 2017: Jess Glynne's music career in numbers

Jess Glynne will headline Belsonic on Thursday as she is set to take to the stage at Ormeau Park in Belfast.

Ahead of the singer's much anticipated gig, we take a look at her impressive music career to date.

  • 15 - Age when she auditioned for The X Factor

Before she found fame, Jess was asked to audition for The X Factor when she was just 15. However she soon decided the competition wasn't for her, wanting to go a different route with her career.

Speaking in 2015, she told The Independent: “I just wasn’t really feeling it. It wasn’t really me. It was a great thing to see but also a great thing to walk away from.

"I was quite an opinionated girl, I still am, and I know what I want so I don’t think it would have been the right thing for me."

  • 24 - Age when she got her first Number One

Jess' first taste of success came when she was 24 when her track with Clean Bandit, Rather Be, became a massive summer athem in 2014.

  • 5 - UK Number One singles

Jess' voice was probably the most regcognised in the charts a few years ago, and that was before she even released her debut album.

Featuring on the massive tracks Rather Be with Clean Bandit, My Love with Route 94 and Not Letting Go with Tinie Tempah, she eventually released her solo singles Take Me Home and Don't Be So Hard On Yourself - all of which hit the top chart position.

  • 8 - UK Top 10 singles

As well as her number one tracks, Jess also achieved chart success with Take Me Home, Right Here, and Real Love with Clean Bandit.

  • 10 - Weeks at Number One

Not only has Jess managed to nab the top spot in the Official Charts but she had proven to have staying power.

  • 1 - UK Number One album

Jess reached the top of the UK album charts following the release of her debut solo album I Laugh When I Cry.

  • 42 - Weeks in the Album Chart Top 10

Jess' debut album was one of the major records of 2015, further strengthening her hold on the UK charts.

  • 1 - Grammy Award

In 2015 Jess won a Grammy Award alongside Clean Bandit for Rather Be.

  • 3 - Brit Award nominations

Following the release of her debut solo album, Jess was nominated for British Single of the Year for Hold My Hand, Breakthrough Act, and British Female Solo Artist in 2016.

Unfortunately she hasn't yet received a Brit Award win , but no doubt there will be plenty in the future.

Jess Glynne will headline the fifth night of Belsonic 2017 in Belfast with support from Danish DJ Martin Jensen.
