Biffy Clyro to play Belfast gig on 2020 arena tour

Biffy Clyro have announced they will play a gig in Belfast later this year.

The band will play will play at the SSE Arena on October 6 2020 on their first full-scale UK and Ireland arena tour since 2016.

The Scottish rockers last played in Northern Ireland at Belfast VItal in 2017 when thousands of fans filled the Boucher Road Playing Fields for a massive rock concert in the city.

Biffy Clyro have recently revealed details of their upcoming album, A Celebration of Endings, which will drop on May 5.

Frontman Simon Neil describes it, the band's eighth record, as "a very forward-looking album from a personal perspective and a societal perspective".

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 20 at 10am from all usual Ticketmaster outlets and ticketmaster.ie
