Multi award-winning recording artist Katie Melua has announced an extensive 45-date headline winter 2020 tour, including a night in Belfast.

Melua, 35, was born in Georgia and came to live in Northern Ireland with her family at the age of eight.

She attended St Catherine's Primary School on the Falls Road then Fortwilliam Grammar School in north Belfast, while her father took up a post as a heart specialist at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

The singer-songwriter will return to the city to perform at the Ulster Hall on November 23, 2020 before a night at Vicar St in Dublin.

The announcement of the tour coincides with news of a Live In Concert 2xCD album featuring Gori Women’s Choir, recorded at London’s Central Hall, Westminster in December 2018.

Tickets for the tour will go on general sale on Friday, November 22 2019 at 10am.
