American rapper and comedian Lil Dicky has postponed his Life Lessons tour to focus on making a new album and TV show.

A date in Dublin at the Olympia Theatre on November 17 2018 is among the cancelled gigs.

The Freaky Friday rapper broke the news to fans on Twitter, writing that he had bitten off more than he could chew.

The rapper, who's real name is David Andrew Burd, asked fans to be patient with him and promised full refunds to all who bought tickets.
