1000 Foo Fighters fans in Cesena play Learn To Fly simultaneously to try and get them to play their city

A thousand citizens of the Italian city of Cesena got together and gave a simultaneous rendition of Foo Fighters track Learn To Fly in the hope of attracting the band's attention.

Hundreds of drummers, bassists, guitarists and singers amassed, led by a single conductor.

Rockin 1,000, who organised the event, are trying to get the rock band to come and play in Cesena.

After the song is played group founder Fabio Zaffagnini says: "I guess this video is going to be seen by a huge amount of people all over the world, but to be true it's been conceived to be addressed just to five people.

"So to Chris, Pat, Nate, Taylor and Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters. Italy is a country where dreams cannot easily come true, but it's a land of passion and creativity. So what we did here is just a huge miracle."
